Acrylic Landscape painting close up to show brush strokes
This may not be the best detail of the how the brush lays down paint on the landscape but I think it’s obvious the difference from previous painting.

I got a new brush and it produces these excellent brush strokes in the acrylic paint. I think it really opens up the gestural quality of the landscape painting.

The brush is this massive round – although it might actually not be a picture perfect definition of one. Now that I think about it, the brush may be something else entirely. Regardless, it’s big and it’s certainly helping scale things up.
