Working on scaling up my painting sizes. This essentially quadruples the size of the work. There’s a bit of a learning curve I have to go through again to get used to the largess of the area including understanding how to scale my selection of brushes.

The other aspect is that while a smaller work allows the ability to sort of ‘hide’ paint handling quality, a larger size shows off overly loose and/or quick paint application.

Aside from all this, I’m sort of digging the dynamics of the brush strokes in this painting. It’s something I’ll have to hone going forward.
