Working on achieving the sort of ‘painterly quality’ I have in mind. I’m also working on opening up the paint handling and being less direct with the color. That pursuit goes hand-in-hand with trying to get my head out of the way when putting down paint.

The brush strokes seems to be loosening up quite nicely and it looks like I’m fighting through the process of scaling up the paintings a bit more, which is nice. The reduction of palette is working to my favor, as well.
