I’m thinking one of my goals for the next year is to focus on scaling up the landscapes. I’d like to get to the hallowed ‘couch size’ but with some competence.

This was also the goal of last year, but being as 2020 was, it didn’t go the way I planned.

I think what did happen could be summed in a not so clever analogy: my efforts were very similar to the Roman Empire. As an at certain times a Caesar would marshal forces and under cunning focus and desire, expand the Empire. But then people weren’t paying attention and an idiot took over. The barbarians would reclaim the gained ground until another competent Caesar would rise to command.

At times, I am that competent and then the idiot. Sigh.
